A driver if disqualified from driving a commercial vehicle if he is convicted of two or more of the following serious traffic violations:
* Excessive speeding: more than 15 mph over the posted limit
* Reckless driving
* Improper or erratic lane changes
* Following the vehicle ahead too closely
* Violating a state or federal law arising from a fatal accident
A driver’s license will be suspended for 60 days for 2 violations within a 2 year period and for 120 days for three of these violations in a three year period.
