Federal regulations require that once each year motor carriers must perform an annual review of all of their drivers’ safety records.
A new MVR ( motor vehicle report ); a Certificate of Violations of which the driver lists all moving violations in the past three years; a CSA record of all roadside inspections and citations; and an audit of all crashes and/or claims the drivers has had are required to complete this process.
The aim is to “qualify” each driver as though he were a new applicant, to verify that the driver is still eligible to operate in interstate commerce.
If you have not yet submitted your Certificate of Violations, please do so immediately. Any MTI office can provide you with the blank, and it is also available on the Mamo Transportation web site, www.mamotransportation.com.
