Please be sure that you are reading the instructions on your load sheets that we send to you, we have recently had some problems that I wanted to bring to your attention that could have been avoided if the load sheets were read.
- If it says to call ahead to make pick up or delivery arrangements, please check with your dispatcher to see if they have done that–if not, please call the day before whenever possible to let the customer know you are coming in.
- A lot of our trucks that are being licensed state that we need you to fax the paperwork in from delivery, this is to verify that you have completed the licensing correctly before we release you from the truck.
- If you are asked to do any kind of inspection (State, DOT, etc.) even if the DMV or the location you are delivering to tells you that you do not need to, please follow through and get the inspection that was noted on the sheet regardless of what you are told by anyone else.
- If you are delayed and have scheduled a delivery, please let the customer know that you are delayed.
Thanks and please let us know if you have questions.
Be safe!
