We have all read about the 100 and 200% increase in price of tolls on the east coast.
Be prepared. That bridge toll that was $15 the last time you paid it, may now be $40 or much more – depending upon the kind of vehicle you are driving.
Two critical things to remember if toll roads and bridges will be part of your delivery: (1) it is always smart to have extra cash in reserve – in a separate part of your wallet, for example, and (2) many toll roads accept debit cards, and your TAB card qualifies.
Please keep this in mind: if you do not have cash enough to pay a toll, the toll road system will bill the toll to the OWNER OF THE VEHICLE: our customer. This is an embarrassment you want to save yourself and the company. Be prepared; make carrying adequate cash part of your trip preparation.
