Good Morning, we had frost on our windows this morning in Osceola and saw our first snowfall yesterday–not that I’m excited about it but thought I would share since some of you are probably seeing sunshine and warm weather and others are seeing even colder temps and more snow than we get in Indiana in October. Just wanted to suggest to all Contractors that you utilize the weather station and any weather apps on your smart phones and allow for extra time if heading into adverse weather (as well as pack warmer clothes).
Just a reminder that we do not want any smoking done in customer vehicles, think of it as if you were going in to pick up your new vehicle–do you want it to smell like smoke or that great NEW CAR/TRUCK smell? On occasion we get complaints from customers that a vehicle has been smoked in and we will charge you for a complete detail of the vehicle if that does happen. Please also keep in mind that even if you do not smoke in a vehicle but are traveling with luggage, coats, clothing, etc. that have been smoked around the smell could still get into the vehicle and make it smell like it was smoked in. There are products on the market such as Febreze and others to kill smoke smells and I would suggest that all smokers carry something like that with them as what you do not smell as a smoker a non-smoker getting a brand new vehicle would smell right away. In closing, please do not smoke in customer vehicles, this is covered in orientation and also on our driver message line while you are on hold. We want the vehicle to arrive at the customers location in the same condition that you picked it up in.
We also occasionally hear from our customers that food wrappers, cups, etc. have also been left in the truck–please take five minutes before delivery to clean up your mess before presenting the truck for delivery.
We continue to be busy in certain areas, please get with our dispatchers and get out in a truck today–we need you on the road, have a great rest of the week!
